Crawdad`s River Cantina in Sacramento

Great view of the Delta waters from most tables with patio and inside seating. Good food and drinks but service can be slow.

Christmas has arrived at Crawdads and it looks AMAZING!Looking to have lunch or dinner on the river? Crawdads has always been a place to go but they really knocked it out of the park this year. We have been wanting them to decorate and stay open during the holidays for years and they went above and beyond.The food this year also seems to have gotten a bit f an upgrade. The carnitas tacos and back with tons of flavor, tenderness and kick. Their salads and burger seem better this year too. As always the drinks are delicious and beer always cold. Lots of parking downstairs, they take cash and cards. Lots of TV’s to watch your favorite sports and happy fun staff ready to serve you.Definitely will be spending time here this season!

The food here is really good. The crab grilled cheese sandwich surpassed my expectations. Also the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's a great place to relax and take in the riverfront view. I'll be back again soon!

Nice spot right on the river. Limited menu. I was hoping for more seafood options. Nice spot to have a beer and relax after a long day.

Great to get out for dinner. Not too long a wait, food was good. Plenty of seating even with inside dining outlawed.

The staff wore masks and customer service was wonderful as was our Ahi Nachos. The patio was nice and watching the boats dock as they came in for lunch. Social distance was in play as well. I felt safe!

Great, great service from our Hostess, to Our Server (Megan D.), to the Cook and Bartender. Great Drinks with a Tequila Sunrise and House Blend Margarita (for my fiancee and I)...the Shrimp Cocktails where PERFECT, to the Fried Calamari was crispy golden brown and soft interior, to the Main Course of the Shrimp & Steak Skewers (Steak Medium Medium Rare). A MUST GO!

Always love hitting up crawdads after a long boating day!

The ambience is wonderful, matched by the food. We ordered the smoked salmon Rueben sandwich with a salad. I highly recommend it. The appetizer of fried green beans also highly recommend.

Service was horrible! We had to ask for utensils several times and finally received them and 3 mins after our food arrived. Food was okay but not worth it to endure that service!

We hit happy hour and it was great, $1 off drafts and half off their Calamari and Cajun green beans. They were both amazing! Couldn't stop eating them! Not to mention if you're trying to have a beautiful view, you're literally on top of the Sacramento river which is cool because boaters can dock up and eat here too.

The Waitress was Happy & Attentive. The Drinks were Fun & Strong. The View of all the Boats & Jet Ski's on the River are as close as it gets (from a Bar/Resturant). CRAWDADS is... FUN-FUN-FUN without being in the SUN-SUN-SUN.

Enjoyed some clam chowder and a chicken sandwich. Very tasty. Also live entertainment. Recommend a reservation.

Amazing food. Gorgeous View

Great ambience and food. Our server was great too! Came here with my family for lunch on a Friday and it was fairly quiet. Beautiful day to be on the river. Good beer and appetizer selection. We sat outside to enjoy the scenery.

The service was very pleasant but their strawberry and mango mojitos lacked flavor but the crab grilled cheese was delicious.

American food and the setting here is very good. I really loved this place. I had a cousin come into town and asked me to take him back here. The place has a cool atmosphere. Menu is similar to a restaurant in Jacksonville I liked.

I'm not sure which was worse the food or the service. While the location is an amazing venue with a beautiful view the food and the service really makes you long for Chevy's on the river which is 15 ft higher

Great place to stop and have a drink on the water. Older building with lots of wear but that's expected in a water environment. The burger I had was on par and came out quickly. Great service from the delightful stuff and they had someone working the dock to help boats with disembarking and tying up. Over all good experience...

This place is literally right on the river. From our table it was 4 feet to the river running past us. The food was amazing, the drinks even better. I had a great margarita and a very well made old fashioned. She had a frozé, which was a mix of rosé wine, strawberry and watermelon vodkas, Delicious. Will be back for many more dinners and lunches here.

Had the fish and chips. They had a good flavor and the fresh made tartar sauce was delish. I think a few spots of the batter on my fish were a little undercooked or just plain soggy. But I would definitely order again. The service was very good and the view was so serene. Just be warned, the kitchen closed at 6 during the slow season.

First time here for lunch and the Crab and Cheese sandwich was amazing! The Citrus Beet salad was so yummy! Reasonable prices, good portion sizes and everything was fresh! They have drink specials on the menu daily. It was a nice and serene setting on the delta! It's a little off the beaten path but we'll worth going!

Nice place to grab some food or a drink by the river. We enjoyed an Easter lunch there with some out of town family.

Xmas comes to crawdads at last! I suggested they consider decorating the heck out of this place years ago and they finally pulled it off. Check three pics and visit soon!

Beautiful having the wind blow in my head. The restaurants are just off the river, and it's just so nice.

Fun place right on the river. Delicious food, fresh tasting, served fast by friendly staff. Lots of interesting drinks on the bar menu. We're coming back to try a few of the drinks.

If you are concerned about your health and COVID19 safety guidelines, Do not go here. Some staff do not wear masks and customers are told they do not need a mask to enter. I witnessed 2 staff members not wearing masks. Disinfecting of commonly touched areas is not prevalent. 99.9% of the customers I saw enter were not masked and were being told by staff they did not need a mask. But if you just want to party and have fun without concern that there is a mandatory health Order, go for it!

The name is "crawdads" and ironically the Crawdads bucket is one of the worst things on the menu. Spending and no flavor. May as well eat at the hotel. Great for a beer, and that is all.

Awesome floating restaurant with good eats and service. The Cajun Shrimp Salad was delicious. Spicy dressing with a kick and large, fresh shrimp.

The best restaurant on the River. And, I should know. I've been on the river since 1975

Awesome atmosphere and very friendly service. The menu was crisp and delicious. Will definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends. Affordable prices and big meals. Keep it up.

Friendly service. Food was good. I had the Louisiana Gumbo. I liked it a lot. I've been to Louisiana and it was pretty close to what you'd expect in Louisiana. A bit pricey, but that wont keep me from coming back.

The atmosphere is amazing. Love watching all the different boats. Had frozen vodka cocktail, shrimp cocktail, and the nachos. This is my new hangout spot. The staff was helpful and very friendly. You can tell they enjoy their jobs. Me and my mom had a great day there.

We had a nice quiet early evening with drinks, 'starter' and entree.Our Server and Bartender Paul was excellent! Talkative, helpful, and gave us great tips.We shared the CRAWDADS CHOWDER FRIES, with French Fries, Crawdads Clam Chowder, Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Oh My!We also shared the JAMBALAYA, and it was also delicious! One Starter and one entree, a couple of perfect cocktails, we were quite pleased!

Showed up to what I was told was a 20-30 minute wait, had my name & number taken to receive a text once our table was ready. Got the text stating I would be alerted once our table was ready. Waited over an hour & never got a text. Extremely disappointed. Totally ruined my birthday.
